Problems with .vob files
 

I used to let my daughter watch her Lilo & Stitch movie with bsplayer, because it played the movie with swedish speech. After downloading and installing nimo codec pack, my bsplayer wont even play my movie.

My intervideo windvd4 will play the movie, but i can´t get it to play it with swedish speech.

Please help me to

1. restore my bsplayer so that it plays the movie with swedish speech again

2. make my intervideo windvd4 play the movie with swedish speech.

try to remove nimo pack from Add/Remove (Control Panel)

Let´s see.. skip the 10 most obvious tips... i´ve tried that... :shock:

(like removing all my media players and codecs, reinstalling bsplayer, downloading all kinds of codecs and filters). If you don´t know the answer, dont bother answering, it´s just annoying... :?

Thx mate, will try that. Downloaded g-spot, it said the movie uses mpeg2 _movie

(S) --> Mediamatics MPEG-2 Splitter --> InterVideo Video Decoder --> (R)

And AC3 audio...

I guess elisoft will fix that??

Got picture now, no sound though. Have also downloaded and installed ac3filter. The sound-bar is stuck at - 0,01%

How do i do 2 get sound again?

do you get your swedish speak on a "classic dvd player" ( I mean on tv? )
my problems with playing vob files is that you only get the 1st language ( if the film is shot with english then it's english, I had avalon to play only in some eastern europe language.
I would say that the easiest way to get it in swedish is to encode your vob files to get a divx, choose swedishas language!
you can use divxmachine, easydivx ,Dr divx or the one I use neodivx (it's a french soft! )

The problem is, before i downloaded nimo (or what the heck i did) i could see the movie with swedish speech with bsplayer, but now i can´t seem to get it back working again...

which languages do you have on our dvd? and in which country did you buy it ( it certainly is sweden but!? )
it seems weird it worked before to me anyhow!
can you read it somehow ( whatever language and player )on your computer?
you can still (re)try to ripp it with smart ripper and try after.

I´m not interested in anything else than 2 get this copy working again. That simply cannot be impossible!!

Is´nt there any of the developers reading this forum, that can explain what is happening when the volumebar is stuck in -0,01%?

System restore point... Got rid of the problem, without solving it though. Now i will try 2 install nimo without audio codecs.. What do u think??

well, I had such problems to, and my only resolution is:

uninstall ALL the codecs (Nimo, etc etc) you've installed, go to

http://www.k-lite.tk

Click on Codec Pack on your left, download FULL version, install it with standard options (except bsplayer), and try again. Nimo codec pack just suxx !!
