No Video
 

I get no video image when i try to play most my files and movies. I would guess its the codecs but they play in wmp and i have the latest k-lite codec pack.

The problem could be probably in DS filter or it's settings (like FFdshow) or overlay problem( this is defauldt bs mode). In your place, i would unistall all decoders and filters(but not codecs) and try to install some good decoder/filter(like ffdshow - it can play all mpeg-4 formats)
