Default The Matrix Reloaded (unknown file format!!)

Hi there,

WHen i want to play this mivie i get the above error.
The movie has te following name:The.Matrix.Reloaded.SVCD.TS-Centropy-CD1 mpg

BS Player reports: Unknown file format ()

Can anyone please help me?

Probably is a mpeg2 format . Search for a mpeg 2 codec (I use Elecard). It should work fine.

And if this does not work, and you're using v0.86.496, you should probably downgrade to 0.86.494. I had the same problem with some (S)VCDs and 496.

If it is really related to mpeg 2 then try using ffdshow filter. It's capable of decoding a lot different formats without the need to install all the corresponding codecs.
Try here.
As SVCD is MPEG 2 format problems ought to disappear.
