pefect sound, but gray screen only
 

when i start the movie, i'm getting a grey screen, but perfect sound. what do i have to do? is there any codec i have to install

Probably is a divx 3 coded movie. Go to options, preferencies, divx3.11 and move sliders for bright, contr ....to 50.

same method for all codecs -> move sliders to the default (middle) settings

I had the same problem with grey screen (audio, but only grey screen). I checked my sliders and they were in the default center position already, so that was not it. But then, I notice on the "video" tab, an option for using "DivX 4 decoder for MP43, DIV3, DIV4" and I checked it (it was not checked by default). Suddenly, I had the picture back! This cured my grey screen!
