Unable to jump in mpeg

Is it normal that u can't jump around in af mpeg movie ?

Everytime I try it goes back and plays the movie form its' beginning.
I'm using the Elecard codec, and the newest BSPlayer.

Change to elecard 2 beta codec. Works ok. The new one is creating this problem.
