MY Bs Player does not play my avi movies Do I need to install another program to help them play? :?: |
Re: MY Bs Player does not play my avi movies Quote:
you also cannot play them using BSPlayer. I think you do not have the codecs which are used by your avi's. You might want to read this topic, which is about codecs. http://forum.bsplayer.org/viewtopic.php?p=6173#6173 If you want to see which codecs are used by a certain avi or mpg, you can use AviCodec: http://avicodec.duby.info/ :D |
Another easy to use and very helpful program to find out which codecs are needed for a movie and whether they are installed on your PC is "GSpot". http://www.headbands.com/gspot/  |

Avicodec works for avi's and mpg's. |

What version do you refer to? Perhaps you should download the latest version of GSpot? |
Ok, I see it now, they have updated it. Some month's ago it did not work with mpg's, now it does. :) Sorry, just tried it out on some mpg. Gspots Says: type video/mpeg, all other info N.A. Avicodec says: 1150kbps 29.970 FPS Res 352x240 4:3 Vcd 224kbps 2 channel, Mpg1 layer 2 So Gspost is not very usefull (newest version) |
