A Few Nebie Questions Hey, I just started useing the BSplayer and I must say it's the best DivX player I've ever had. But I do have a few questions about some it's abilitys ( I did search around the forum but didn't really find what I was looking for ) Thanks for the Help in Advance... 1) When I hit pause and take a screen capture, the image is saved but when I hit play to continue it remains paused, is that normal or am I not doing some thing correctly ? 2) I'm watching DivX file formats (and the PSplayer is the best I've ever seen on playing them) but what I really need to be able to do is do frame skip, where I pause the current screen and then skip forwards or backwards advancing a frame at a time (I make animated GIFS) and I can't seem to do this when I hit the forward icon, is there another way or am I (once again) not doing it correctly ? Those are the 2 things I'm having trouble with... once again Thanks for the help in advance. |
Re: A Few Nebie Questions 1) When I hit pause and take a screen capture, the image is saved but when I hit play to continue it remains paused, is that normal or am I not doing some thing correctly ? Sometimes it takes some seconds before it starts again. This is because of the speed which is needed to encode, This problem only occurs on some "heavy" codecs or slower pc's. After pressing pause and after capturing the first picture, press "right arrow key" and BSPlayer goes to the next frame, and will stay in pause mode, just press "P" again and so on. Some other method is, pressing F5 to decrease speed, after that, you press "P" sometimes until you have enough pics. :D |
Thanks for the help...... :D |
