starting from CD without installing codec
 

Hi,
I made a lot of test to play a divx film (created with DivX_c32.ax codec)directly from a CD without success.
Here is what I burn on CD:
-CD ROOT-
filters folder
bplay.exe
autorun.exe + autorun.ini
bsrendv.dll
DivX.dll
test.avi
test.ico

where
-filters folder-
BSpFilters.dat
DivX_c32.ax

Inside BSpFilters.dat I put this code
AddFilter DivX_c32.ax,{78766964-0000-0010-8000-00AA00389B71},DivX Decoder Filter

Where is my ERROR?

I think ur guid code is in a error
it should be 82CCD3E0-F71A-11D0-9FE5-00609778AAAA
for divx3 beta movie

also the bspfilters.dat should place under the folder of bsplay.exe

However, in my experience, I need not modify or make bspfilters.dat
because any movie produced by divx3 beta will be automatically play
by bsplayer, seem that bsplayer know which filter it should open for
divx 3 beta

I just have two questions:

1. How do i know the GUID?
2. How do i now what files (*.ax, *.acm, *.dll, etc..) i need?
