Full Screen + Controls

Is there a way while in "full screen" mode to keep the "controls" onscreen while playing files in a playlist?

As the movies change in the playlist, I have to keep rt. clicking the screen and choosing controls and this interferes with the viewing process. I'd like to be able to pause/fast forward/rewind as I see fit as the various files in the playlist cycle.

Your help is greatly appreciated,

Have you tried using the keyboard shortcuts?
(Z, X, C, V, B = Prev, Play, Pause, Stop, Next)

It seems that default X has been replaced by Y meanwhile.
Don't know Y.
Perhaps also some other default keyboard shortcuts no longer correspond to those mentioned in "About"-information.
So best check in "Key definitions (& WinLIRC)"-tab of "Preferences" how settings really are.
