washed out colors hey guys ive been using VLC for years thinking there is no good alternative. today my friends made fun of me for not using BS.player so i decided to give it a shot and i love it so far, very simple and intuative and the subtitles feature is amazing. one issue is this there is a sort of grey/dull washed out color thing. for example, when i saw a quote in the begining of a movie, which is white letters on solid black background in other players in BS.player the background was grey. anyway there's a picture here that shows the difference Pasteboard — Uploaded Image left side in VLC right site is BS.player i REALLY wanna use BS.instead but i need to fix the colors first. p.s i wanted to play around with the video properties but for some reason all three optins (divx 3.11, divx 4+ and FFDshow) are all greyed out. |
That video properties window it's legacy, it doesn't work anymore. Click the fouth tab on the right, in rendering metods and select from the frop-down box. Also, when a movie it's loaded, right clik into the video window and choose video-> colour controls. |
