how to get the pic on the secondary display->TV

Sorry might be a silly question, but how do I get the secondary display which is the TV to show the picture with bsplayer? If I run the avi in win media player it will show on TV as well but not if I run it with bsplayer. Can anyone give some advise please?
Graphic card is Matrox 450 with dualhead and 'DVDMax' on.
Thanks for some suggestion.
