BSplayer v.1.00 screw up

Last night I downloaded v1 unzipped it to a folder on the desktop clicked on the bsplay.exe and suddenly all most of the file types are hijacked by BS(can you please stop it behaving that way?).

Now I decided to move the folder to the BS0.8x folder.
Zip up old stuff, put in new stuff.
Now double-click any video files and a dialog window pops up saying it can't play(path thingy).
But drag the file to the player is OK.

Checked the file type properties in folder options,
the "Play in BSplayer" and "Enqueue in BSplayer" options still point to the original path where v1 is first unzipped to.

Tried deleting those 2 options, the new v1 files and try a registry clean up.
But the problem persists.
Did those again and went back to 0.8x and all is well.

Now:

Are there any steps to follow to do a clean install/remove?

Can there be an option in the preferences to add/remove the "Play in BSplayer" and "Enqueue in BSplayer" right-click options?
