I don't like 1.0 version!!!
 

It requires even more cpu power, computer works slower, I have problems with serbian titles, hate new logo, we didn't get anything new... disappointing!

I'll stick 0.86.501

Perhaps you could have said that in a nice way? You probably forget that you're using it for free and that people are spending their free time on writing this player?

Im thankfull for his freetime and his programm witch is my number one player for years.

I personnaly dont like it the rc at first look, but ive have only tested it a few moments so i m not capable to judge it or to cry like a neerd in the forum.

0.86 is serving my needs and there are also rc-lovers, so stick with the version witch serve youre needs. Nobody needs to know how disappaointed u are are or what u hate.

BSPlayer is free and it's one of the best. You're not paying anything for it. And if you don't like the new version, just stick with the old one if it's doing everything you need. Plus, you can't expect them to create an amazingly better version without increasing required resources. E.g. compare the requirements of Win95 to WinXP. There's a big difference.

What is "amazingly" better in version that use more CPU? I expected to get better (lower on CPU) player. Good example is 3ivx new codec ver 4.5 that is better CPU wise than before.

GOOD PLAYER=LESS CPU Time and overoll versality.

Remember that 1.0 is only a RC... far from being the final product

0.8x was also buggy when it was first released, give it some time to mature ;)

Although written from scratch it failed Version 1 is developed out of version 0.8 . to provide better CPU usage. Does project is taking wrong direction is early to say but complementary writing and gratitude for "free" player will not make a better player. Of course we know good work of BST and I hope he will understand this as constructive criticism.

Constructive is to make a better CPU usage score. That is what count the rest are only good manners.

Neither do I. The new version is buggy and consumes more CPU. :( However, (like I said in other forum) it is unfair and too early to condemn BST, as, in my thought, he will fix these problems in future versions. :D :wink:

Well, I have a low end PC and Bsp 1.0 works almost like 0.8x just a little more CPU consuming, not noticeable cuz it features a better A/V Sync; also have better picture quality and i get a better Framerate on my PC...

I Can't find any reason to dislike it... I absolutely love it... and i bet u have a better PC than mine... just play with player options and preferences...

BSPlayer 1.00 is still not final. It is an RC, so have patience, till BST finishes the new version. (I thought he was dead, cool he is still alive 8) :roll: )
