command lines to use subtitles in BsPlayer 1.0 ?
 

Can anyone tell me the command lines to use subtitles in BsPlayer 1.0 ?


BsPlayer 0.86: bsplayer movie.avi subtitle.srt

BsPlayer 1.0: ????

In player upto build 501 the correct commandline was:
bplay "my file.avi" ["subtitle.srt"] [options]

I don't use commandline, but in view of the changed name for the executable I would try:
bsplay "my file.avi" ["subtitle.srt"] [options]

i tried this:


bsplay "c:\movie.avi" "c:\subtitles.srt"


but subtitles wont load :(

in older versions this worked.

In your example, if the subtitle-file is in the same map and has the same name as the the movie-file (except for the extension of course), the subtitles should load automatically (provided you selected "Auto load any subtitles in current directory" and unless you selected "Subtitles disabled", both under "Preferences"/"Subtitles".

can you please just tell me the correct command line for loading movie with subtitles in v1.0(or higher) or will i have to install an older version of bsplayer.

this is an example that worked in older versions:


bsplay "c:\movies\movie.avi" "c:\subtitles\subtitles.srt"

I'm only a fellow user of BSPlayer, trying to help you, you know.
I already told you that I don't use commandline myself!
However, I meanwhile did some tests and it seems that the "old" commandline indeed doesn't work (yet?).
However the "same name" method (commandline then simply: bsplay.exe "D:\Movies\test.avi") works if the subtitlefile (named "test.srt") is placed either in the same directory as the moviefile or in the default directory as defined for subtitles (under "Options"/"Preferences"/"Subtitles").
Just thought I'd let you know this, for what its worth.

:oops: Sorry for a "tone" but your second post was really unusefull for me... (I already know, that bsplayer automatically load subtitles with the same name as movie, but this isn't my issue...)
