m2v problem floating (annoying) little squares
 

Help please..
all of a sudden all my mv2 files have the 9 or so squares little box that used to sit in top right hand corner of the video floating all over the screen ??? any ideas

its really weird a static box that now floats around ruining the picture i have the latest BS player

Do you refer to Elecard's sign ? The 3x3 squares that usualy sit in the right upper corner ?

It's because your trial period has run out... Elecard is not free. Try to uninstall, remove all relating entries in the registry, reinstall.

ahh.. thanks i didnt realise that...

is there any other good codec for mv2 as elececard was the only one i found that worked so well

sorted it now had the codec pack but had elecard selected as the mpeg 2 codec so changed it to the other one and voila
