problem playing file- which codec to use to play ac3 sound??

i have dietyÂ´s "the italian job" version, which is an xvid file with ac3 sound. WHen i play the file in bs player, the video comeÂ´s out kinda in slow motion, and the sound sounds nice but not along with the video? which is the best audio codec to use, or how do i change the audio format?=

I might have the solution to your problem, the filter you require is called AC3Filter v0.70b
The filter can be obtained from www.doom.org software section or alternatively from ac3filter.sourceforge.net 8)

Here's the "sourceforge"-link for AC3 filter (as doom.org seems to be closed down for the time being)
