FHD 5.1 video sound on stereo TV very bad
 

when i download fhd video it has 5.1 sound and i have stereo tv phillips 4k 55" the sound is very quiet and bad



i know i cant have 5.1 sound on 2 speakers and i dot want it,i want to set up sound quality like in 720p videos


what should i do to convert/downsize sound from 5.1 video to stereo speakers,i tryed in preferences to set up 2 speaker stereo but its the same and when i go back its unchecked


i just want stereo siund and good picture,pot plyer does that but it sucks,i dont want another player

You should check 2 things.
With the movie playing, right click -> options -> filters and click on AC3Filter if in use. Set output to 2 channels.
I assume you connect the TV via a HDMI cable. So go to audio control panel, select HDMI audio and configure output to 2 channels.
