BSplayer together with TheaterTek? Hi, I have the following installed just for being able to watch HD material: BSPlayer + Elecard codecs However, when I install TheaterTek (which includes the Cineplayer DVD Decoder Pack) I can no longer play my HD clips smoothly. I think it's because BSPlayer is using the Cineplayer decoder instead of the Elecard one. When I uninstall the Cineplayer decoder all is well again... except that TheaterTek won't startup because it says it can't find the Video decoder. Is there a way to have the two decoders installed at the same time and have BSPlayer using one and TheaterTek the other? Thanks |
No one? I surely can't be the only one using both BSPlayer and TheaterTek? Or am I? - Marty |
Got it! I finally got it working. This is how: 1) Add this line to bspfilters.sam: AddFilter {F50B3F13-19C4-11CF-AA9A-02608C9BABA2},Elecard MPEG2 Video Decoder 2) Rename bspfilters.sam to bspfilters.dat. Though when looking at the filters while playing a video both the Elecard and the Sonic Cinemaster codecs are still listed. But hey, who cares... it works. Marty |
