ffdshow: How to enable?

Hi,

I recently downloaded and installed FFDshow, and I'm having some trouble getting it work. No matter what settings I change in FFDshow, and no matter what player I use, playback is not changed in the least.

Is this because I still have my other codecs installed? (Divx 5.1.1, Divx 4, 3ivx, etc...)

Thanks.

FFdshow is a filter. YOu must tell him, in the configuration page, what formats to decode. If not, the codecs will be used by all aplications.

(Deleted original reply) It was fixed by a simple disable-re-enable of some features. Thanks for the speedy help, though.
