High Bitrate mp3s

i've been having trouble playing mp3s with a high bitrate... when i open the file, you'd have to click on the bar before any sound starts playing... any ideas why?

Help please.

Is "Auto play" selected under Options > Preferences > General?

I am having the same problem. Other players like windows media player and winamp can play these files just fine. The file bitrate is 320 kbps cbr. Any suggestions?
