some help here? (about video aspect ratio)

Before whenver I played my videos, they'd show at 4:3 by default.. but now it opens videos at 16:9 by default.. And I have to change it to 4:3 every time, even if I have it on repeat, when it plays again, it'll go back to 16:9.. and it's REALLY annoying.. Anyway, I didn't change any options so I don't see why it suddenly started doing it.. But anyway, anybody know how I can force it to play in 4:3?

(I tried "remember video settings", but it also remembers the position of the video when you close it.. which also annoys me cause sometimes I wanna restart a vid without un-hiding the video window by opening the file again.. but that doesn't work when it remembers the position.. and also I have to set the aspect ration for every individual file)
