Default Logitech Mouse Buttons

Hi

I have one of those Mediaplay mice and was wondering how to setup bsplayer to work with it?
It has extra buttons that do "forward", "backward" etc which under the setpoint software configuration has tasks listed such as next, play, pause etc for each button. As an alternative you can set specific keystrokes which is a workaround I have been using. The problem is that the next, back etc. tasks are used by programs such as Itunes and WMP so if I use specific keystrokes that work with BSplayer the buttons won't funtion under Itunes/WMP.

I have tried just hovering the mouse over the keyboard shortcut button in the options of BSplayer but it does not recognize the button I am pressing on the mouse.
