no video on 1280 x 1024 resolution

Ther is only sound and no video if my monitor is set on 1280 x 1024 resolution.
What can I do to have video???

Did you also try different videorendering settings?
(rightclick >) Options > Preferences > Video > Video rendering.
Unfortunately you do not provide too much information (but you did read my Help2Help-post?) What is type of video? Especially some info on your videocard (and drivers) could perhaps also help to enable people to help you.
