BsPlayer and unknown file extensions. Two last builds of bsplayer (135.823 and 136.825) don't appear in Open With dialog box when clicking on files with unknown extensions. Any suggestions? :D |
If the extension is an unknown format, BSplayer will not appear as an Open With option, you should register the extension to BSplayer. The simplest way to do this is to open BSplayer, open the Preferences window (CTRL+P), go to the "File types" section, and in the white box insert the unknown extension. Then click on the "Add extension" button, look in the list for the added extension and check it. Maybe select the "Register extensions on player start", restart BSplayer  |
I dont want to add permanent extension.I can't even add bsplayer throughout browse button. In previous versions its worked. And by the way winamp is in the list and media player too. |
Pavelman, browse should work, be sure you go all the way to the Program Files\Webteh\BSplayer\bsplayer.exe file. After you do it once, it will appear always as an "open with" choice, not permanent :) |
Its should work ,but its not :? |
Yes, it should work, but it doesn't.. that's why I didn't post anything else.. I don't really know if it's a BSplayer issue or operating system related bug :? |
I Think it is a BSPlayer bug because its worked in previous builds. |
