can't register version 1.36

I have the latest version for bsplayer pro 1.36 build 825, but i'm not able to register it in order to enable the pro features. The "open bsplayer -> F1 -> r" method doesn't work. Did you changed the registration method? Could the installer be corrupted? 10x.

Tizio 18th September 2005 07:24 PM

The method in NOT changed!
From where do you downloaded BSplayer Pro? (I hope from the official site)
When you press F1 does the About window appear?

Joe84 19th September 2005 12:43 PM

Yes, i downloaded the software from the official web site. The installer has 2.64 MB (is this the correct length?). And yes, when i press f1 the about window appears, but no registration box shows up if i press r ...

Seems to me you've downloaded non-pro version. I suggest you use the link in Tizio's post and download (and install) again.

ZAKhan 20th September 2005 08:22 PM

I Have the same problem... I downloaded the PRO (BSPlayer Pro version 1.36 Build 825, 5 Sept 2005) and tried to register ... it tells me the registration is done and needs to restart but then at restart it pops up the registration box again ... i tried to remove the older version .. clean the registry manually and install the new version again but no luck ...

is it only me who is having this problem?

is there a solution to it?

Joe84 20th September 2005 09:02 PM

Damn... You're right. I took the free version. 8)

ZAKhan 20th September 2005 10:37 PM

I Checked again and I'm using the PRO version but no luck!

Please help

Tizio 21st September 2005 08:38 AM

If the registration box pop ups when you restart BSplayer, it means that the registration key (or registration name) is not correct.
Try to register it again :)

ZAKhan 21st September 2005 08:45 PM

The registration key is very much CORRECT ... I have been using it for other releases and it has always worked .. is there a support email that I can write to?

BSPeter 21st September 2005 11:29 PM

Read item (f) almost at the bottom of my Help2Help-post.

ZAKhan 25th September 2005 10:07 AM

I have downloaded the PRO version and have reconfirmed ... and the same result .. nothing doing!

Did you meanwhile send an email to BSPlayer's support team?

ZAKhan 25th September 2005 03:37 PM

Xeo 28th January 2007 03:32 PM

I cannot imagine you've got the same problem as ZAKhan as he was referring to BSPlayer Pro version 1.36 Build 825, 5 Sept 2005.
What version concerns your problem?
Did you contact BS.Player team with your problem (as indicated in item (f) almost at the bottom of my Help2Help-post)?

Xeo 30th January 2007 12:24 AM

I got BSplayer Pro 2.12 b941 with new legal registration name and code.
I contacted with the team as u wrote but no answer yet. I dont get it, the code just doesnt work for me but its so simple.
Btw, illegal code works fine and always with first try :?

BSPeter 30th January 2007 12:32 AM

I've meanwhile sent a message to BS.Player team drawing their attention to this (your) post.

So what's the problem? Use the code from keygen. 8)

On the contrary what M$ and BSA are telling: Pirated software products are much easier to obtain, install (don't forget activation) and use (don't forget physical means of protection).

Xeo 30th January 2007 02:08 PM

Thx BSpeter for help. I received new code today and it works.
I thought there is some difference between legal and illegal code because i wanted to unlock in Pro some functions (items like: Menu, Title, Angle, Audio streams, Video streams, MPEG audio channels are inactive) but I see now that its the same and these functions are active when dvd is playing. Btw, why those dvd functions cant be alocated in one submenu?
Apart from that, when "Teletext" and "Capture settings" options are active in Pro?

The difference might lay in bad and proper keygens. BSPlayer v2 accepts a range of keys w/o enabling any "pro" functions.
