Help

i am a first time user of bsplayer and have never had a divx player or anything of the sort before
my issue is that i can play a video but with no sound
i checked the FAQ page and downloaded all of the codec filters, but i still do not understand how to configure them or how to find them on the filter management

i would really appreciate any help and in a really simple step by step manner if possible

much appreciated stu

Normally you need:
DivX
XviD
AC3filter
MPEG2 decoder
With those you must be able to play any avi or mpeg video files. For WMV and ASF you need also WMP codecs.
Just install them, you don't need to configure anything. If you don't have audio out generally there are 2 explanations:
you don't have an AC3 decoder or filter installed-solution: install one
your soundcard acceleration isn't accepted by BSPlayer-solution: in audio preferences change to another device (like direct sound).
