AC3 audio delay, sync with video This is not related to BSPlayer. I hope it will be fine if I post it in General Discussions. Most MPEG-2 files come with wrong aspect ratio (as I posted before). I don't need legacy hardware compatibility and therefore I feel free to transcode the videos to H264, cropping and resampling along the way and keeping the original AC3 without recompressing it. The problem is that the a/v streams in the resulting file are out of sync by 2-10 video frames. What's the easy way to determine this delay? It takes a lot of time to delay the audio a bit, mux, test carefully. Then delay more, test again, etc. Doom9 search for "audio sync delay" brought up that "ReJig 0.5f" is capable of doing this: "it specifies the delay immediately you specify the VOB." That is exactly what I want, only if I could find where does Rejig display this value. |
