It looks very good, I tried the DVD playback and it works well. However I didn't see any new codec in the Windows XP video decoder checkup utility. Does BsPlayer 2.0 come without an MPEG2 decoder?

One thing I didn't like is that it still has the multiple windows interface: one window for the movie, another one for the controls, another one for the equalizer, another one for the media library, another one for the playlist... In my opinion it is better to have a single window for everything, just like in WinDVD7 and Windows media Player.

As I use Bsplayer everyday I will tell you more about it later, but so far it is a very good update !

I actually LIKE the multiple windows. I use dual screen (monitor and TV) and like having the playback window (on TV) separate from the control / playlist / etc windows (on monitor)

I'm sure there would be a way to make the different windows detached or attached.
In WinDVD 7 you can detach or attach the playlist window.
