new versions of bsplayer just slow down all?

Well... I am really happy with bsplayer 1.02 812
And I tried new versions like 1.39.829, 1.41.832, 1.42.833 and 2.0.0.937
all of them just slow down the videos and because that the subtitles are useles... (or maybe slow down subtitles, or something... times change everytime)

I was thinking about "correct" that unsync subtitles, but then I installed 1.02 812 and the same videos with the same subtitles are working really great!

Any idea?

In my opinion there is nothing wrong if you continue using v1.02.812. In fact, if you can't find a feature in the changelog you absolutely need and your current version is working properly, then there is no point upgrading.

I am using BSPlayer v1.36 because there are no important features in recent versions. By the way this version doesn't slow down subtitles or place any unnecessary load on the CPU.

Maybe it's because those versions have an adware client that installs into your machine and it may take too much memory from you PC (have you got an old PC?)
I suggest yu to install BSplayer v1.37. You'll find it by searching the forum, or just take a look at BSPeter's sticky post in general section (item (a) under MISCELLANEOUS section). That was the last release without adware and works pretty well

Thanks for your suggestions guys...

My machine is not new, but it is not that OLD to make that... it is an athlon xp 2.6 with 512 ram
If new versions of software make that, welll something it is wrong there... (just my thoughts)

Mine is even older (900MHz + 256MB SDRAM) and BSplayer v2.00.933 Pro runs like a charm (but Pro doesn't have adware in it)
