Quicktime Hi, there are a few places where I want to watch videos with BSplayer, but quicktime came on for it! So I uninstalled that, but then I went to open iTunes and it apparently needs Quicktime to work. Stupid Apple. Anyway, is there a way to make BSplayer my default video viewing program? -Quadgravshop |
If iTunes needs QuickTime maybe it only needs the QuickTime filters, so QuickTime Alternative should be enough. Otherway you can set BSplayer as default player by registering the extensions you want to be played in BSplayer in BSplayer preferences (CTRL+P -> File types -> Select the extensions you want, and maybe also the option "Register extensions on player start") Then go in QuickTime preferences. Select "File types" tab and uncheck all the extensions you want to use in BSplayer. Then disable also the "Notify if other applications modify these associations" options in the same tab. |
