Registering BSplayer
 

Sorry for asking, but is there any way to use BS free player on a computer without the internet access? I tried installing it and failed (and cancelled), but than I still had loads of problems removing all the stuff that kept trying to reach internet...

I'm afraid not. You can use most recent free version without adware support on a stand-alone without internet connection though.
In my Help2Help-post you can find the latest version of BSPlayer without adware (137) under item (a) of MISCELLANEOUS:

Just to be annoying; will there be any new version able to be installed on the comp. without internet connection? Pretty please? :)

There is no need to always "upgrade" to the most recent version. No matter what decisions does the BS team make and how commercial it might become, the working old version doesn't become any worse. I even read somewhere that the new v2's do not run under Win98.

BS.Player 2.x runs normally under Windows 98.
