It can handle SPDIF. BUT if i want to hear the sound in my headphones it doesn't work. They are dead. Theres no problem with the headphones. Winamp and other stuff works. Also VLC. I want to have sound in my headphones and in my reciver. Waht could the problem be? how to set my preferences right? |
Re: Audio/Sound problem This might not be possible with your gear. You have to choose to either decode the compressed AC-3 audio in software and send it to analog outputs or output the AC-3 as-is via digital S/PDIF. If you do the latter, the soundcard doesn't have any audio to output to headphoes (it has pseudo-noise that only the receiver understands). |
