flac in MediaLibrary I can't seem to add my .flac files to the MediaLibrary. They don't seem to be recognized as audio files. I can play them just fine, I just can't add them to the library. Suggestions? -randyw BSplayer Pro version 2.12 Build 941 |
Before you add any new type of file to the library you have to check if that extension is already in the ones BSplayer handles. Take a look at BSplayer preferences (CTRL+P -> File types) and add FLAC extension to the list. Remember to also select it after you add it if you want FLAC files to be associated to BSplayer  |
I've done that and flac files are associated with bs player but when I try to add one to the audio library it doesn't even show up as a valid audio file type. If I show all files and add a flac file it doesn't show up in the library. |
I've got the same problem. I've tried to register .flac with Bsplayer dozens of times in the options pane. every time I close the pane and re-open, it's back to defaults for some reason?? (bsplayer PROlite 2.25) can't get it to hold on to any new filetypes (mp4, m3u, flac, rmvb all tried). Odd, I know on my previous system it was all set upjust fine (with every media file I knew of aimed as BSplayer. But that was set up lots of version ago and on winXP, now I'm on vista (x32). |
