Some 1600 Euros in here. Nice specifications, Core Duo, 1 Gig of RAM, X1400 ATI card. Hope you will enjoy using it a long time.
No big deal in EVR, I am waiting for improvements in BSPlayer's subtitle renderer under EVR, seems for now it's not working OK. As CPU usage, internal renderer seems to be the best choice still, even under Vista. At least on my machine.

Well, I succeded in getting it for 1300 Euros :P , but with Core2Duo T7200, 2GB of RAM, and the great GeForceGo 7900GS 8) (I bought it when here DELL offered the greatest discounts of all times, one week after it cost 1600€ :) )

(I think I will not change it for at least 5 years, as I did with my previous PC :P )

Better CPU. Don't know about video, futuremark doesn't have any test published.
