BSPlayerPRO licence only for 3 computers ?
 

Referring to this post in which ...Interesting link, so now a PRO user can install BSPlayer only on 3 computers ?

Nothing really new I'm afraid. I also think the word "only" is not entirely appropriate. On how many PC's are you allowed to install Windows on one licence?

What I wanted to say is that this information was not new to me as I had seen/read it a while ago already and further, that it is rather common that licence-conditions limit the number of PC's (often only one) on which a product may be installed and used (mostly by the same user).
[This - of course - not taking into consideration multi-licence packages]

And what I wanted to say was that a member of BSPlayer's team stated not long ago that a PRO license grant the user the right to install the software on an unlimited number of computers. Now it seems that this thing has changed, isn't it ? The licensing policy changed with ver 2.20 from 24.04.2007.

But your is an academic version? If it's a standard license I doubt it lets you to install Windows on more than one machine, otherwise... everything it's possibile :lol:

Most probably some form of volume licencing or e.g. multi licence packages (overhere minimum 3) for (OEM) System builders as referred to by me when ... :wink:

Normally, with Microsoft Vista you can use 1 regular license on 1 computer.

Don't worry: I didn't and won't worry. The only thing that annoys me, is that I wrote licence instead of license. :oops:
