Corrupted sound when seeking timeline For some DivX Files(encoded with Divx5), if you seek/slide forward or especially backward of the video's timeline, the sound becomes corrupted just for 1 or 2 seconds, then it resumes normal. It cannot be called as a "problem" but i wonder why. This usually happens when seeking video from CD-ROM, but at first, i thought CD-ROM's access latency or disc's dirt or others might cause this sound corrupt, but it happened after i copied the file to HDD. So, isn't there a error correction or record for some video files like DivX ones(avi)? If it's related to CD-ROM drive, why did it happen while running from HDD also? (though i copied the video to HDD from CD) |
I think you're using Pro-version isn't it? If so, is buffer enabled for CD-ROM drives? (rightclick > Options > Preferences > General > [Network buffer]) |

But did you check buffers? When a file is copied from CD to harddisk, it probably is read-only. Don't know if that could have anything to do with it though! |
