http://bsplayer.com/forum/viewtopic....hlight=blueray For fully supported playback, probably royalty will have to be payed. |

At this moment BSPlayer does not fully support HD playback from original media. To do that, BSPlayer's team must pay royaltyes to implement such a function into the player. Buit if you followed the link provided you know that you can play it. |
look 1. if you followed the link that provided 1.1 you see that the chat between people not authorized from the company "bs" ! 1.2 if you followed the link that provided it's from beginning Oct 07, 2006 1.3 do you think that your reply it's good :?: 2. if you followed the link that you provided 2.1 you see you bring reply for only HDDVD . FOR 99$ ( I DONT KNOW IF THIS GOOD or WORK WITH" bs " ? ) 2.2 WHAT WITH Blu Ray :?: |
There is no difference between the 2 formats. They use the same compresions methods. Disc structure it's different. |
HD-DVD and BluRay discs are deliberately made unplayable. You need to extract their contents and create normal unprotected files on your computer. Open Source decoders for the new formats VC-1, hi resolution AC-3 and DTS are in developement. You will be able to acquire those decoders for free. |
@6311 and/or ROYROY Seems you're posting under two nicks. :confuse: Why :? |
yes, it is capable. In the past i ripped a blu ray disc to the HDD and because a powerDVD was installed, the BSplayer used its codecs and played correctly the BLu-ray files. Will be very interesting to have only the powerdvd codecs without to have to install it... maybe someone can help us on that. |
I am trying to play a National Geographic Blu-Ray disc and BSplayer Pro tells me that it cannot find the codecs required to reproduce it. I am using the latest version (2.40.997). What codecs should I install? |
