A couple of questions about screencaps Hey there!

The first request I think could be fulfilled by a simple plugin, but there are also external programs that lets you do this. I have no time to create that plugin now, I hope someone else will do this :roll: |
Just use ffdshow. Add the playback window and seekbar from any program, and you get the most versatile video player for Windows. ffdshow can grab frames on command, all frames, or an indicated range. |
Does it support mkv? |
Unfortunately libavformat is not part of ffdshow, only libavcodec. You still must have Haali splitter installed. |
