how to manage keyboard shortcuts?

Where to find a BS Player default shortcut keys list?

Can I generate a new one if shortcuts have been changed by user?

How to make new kb shortcut default list?

Now the default FF is Ctrl+F5 .... etc .

Thanks!

Try to use my BSP DefinitionsManager (it should still work with BSplayer v2+)

Plus, if you want to change them (maybe after you clear them all with my utility) you can simply go to BSplayer preferences and change them from there (CTRL+P -> Key definitions & WinLIRC -> select the action you want to change and you can define it in the top right corner, field1 and field2, and remember to do the same thing with full screen definitions)

Hi

Thanks for your reply

I have checked BSP Definitions Manager v1.02
but it fails:

Runtime erroro 9
Subscript out of range

BSPlayer 1.37, XP Pro SP2

Default Browser Opera 9.27

Really  ?
With v1.37 it should work... I'll try it myself and let you know if I can reproduce it and if I can fix it ;)

Just tested with version 1.37.826 and 2.31.971 beta and it works with both of them (I just have to manually search for BSplayer preferences file with v2)
Can you tell me what you exactly did before the error popped-up?

hi

I just double clicked to BSP Definitions Manager.exe
application doesn't start and instead there is a described error

I checked now on other computer and there the manager starts normally with BSP 2.27.

Then I must get a newer version pro install files and then try again.

I checked the program code and after a fast reading the only bug I found is a command I forgot to edit and that prevents BSP Definitions Manager to detect the preferences file if its name is BSplayer.xml (instead of the old BSplayer.USERNAME.xml) but this will not create problems since you can select the preferences file manually..

If you want I'll upload the fixed version (it's just one line of code) and so you can check if the problem is related to this bug, but I don't think so, since I tried it myself...

Maybe your problem resides in BSplayer preferences file, it can be corrupted..

Is your program written in Visual Basic? Those frequently refuse to run with similar error messages.

Tizio 31st August 2008 12:14 PM

Yes, it's written in VB as almost all my programs, but never had a single problem on several machines and OSes (Windows based)

Subscriptions out of range could be related to some list writing/reading out of its ranges, but exception made for a corrupted BSplayer.xml file I can't imagine of another source for the problem (I'm a bit tired now, I can't ever write readable english, I should have slept some more hours last night :P )

I have a couple "casual" games in VB, and they no longer run on XP. One other title stopped functioning when I changed the decimal separator in Windows settings: it could not treat previously saved values as numbers (took a while to realize what's wrong).

Manager v1.02 works allright here.
