Aspect Ratio keeps changing I have a movie which is a 3:4 aspect ratio, and i have a wide monitor with 16:9 (1680X1050), and I have BS.Player Pro 2.34. When I go into movie mode (full screen), it expands the dimensions of the video so that the width would fit my screens width, but because of that, it cuts off from the bottom and the upper sides of the video so that I don't have a full picture regarding the height of the video. I tried to go to Video and then Keep Aspect Ratio, and also put the aspect ratio on original, but it does not work. What can I do about this? I'd rather have it in movie mode not on every inch of my monitor and have a full view of the video... |
Is using movie-mode appropriate for what you want? How is video displayed if you depress [5] of numeric keyboard? (=back to default or movie-mode and/or pan scan deselected) What is selected under (rightclick >) Options > Preferences > Video > [General]? e.g. re. "Cut top and bottom of video in full screen mode" (Sorry have no version 2.34 installed any more; suggest you to update) |
You can uncheck "cut top and bottom in fullscreen" in Preferences -> video -> general. |

Strange thing, that part of your post wasn't visible. IE8 bugs ? |
