BSPLAYER 2.69 containing malware?

I've got a message from the player. saying there is an updated version for it, tried downloading from bsplayer.com, but chrome blocked the download, twice, saying it contained malware.

From where did you download BS.Player?
Can you make a screenshot of the warning?

I tried downloading it from the official site, via softsonic, but the wierd part was that when the pop-up window for the download appeared, the link to softsonic was unusual, which made me suspicious.
Today i got a message again from the bsplayer, saying that there's an update, this time the download was normal.
I really don't know what was that. Sorry for the post. :frown:

Try downloading from EU server, not from Softonic.

Yes, I got the same message now from chrome when trying to download the 2.7 version. What do you think? Is is safe? why are you introducing crap in BsPlayer? cant you just keep it clean?

I tried from both download links of the free version (the regular and EU server), same message from chrome on both attempts.

It's legit. Most popular antiviruses don't detect anything. Don't know why Firefox and Google are complaining about.

Issue was fixed in the meantime.
