I fixed my "overlay failed" also.
I just downloaded ffdshow from "http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=53761"...

I made it work, I unistalled all my codecs, and...

I made it work, I unistalled all my codecs, and bsplayer, then reinstalled bsplayer first before I installed my codecs. I still can't use the Overlay mode though.

I have all the right codecs (my movies works on the same computer with Windows media player) but BSPlayer wont work.
When I have the "Use overlay" flag off I get an "Unknown file format!" on both...
