Command Line - Is there a command line for loop or repeat?

I need to be able to load from the command line a file and loop it x amount of times. Anyone know if there is a way to do this?

Best I could do was make a playlist with the file referenced x...

I would like to make a suggestion to add a repeat and a loop (x amount of times, i.e. -loop=5) to the command line functions.

Currently I am making a playlist that has the file x amount of times...
