I've found out that it is now possible to play smb:// video links using BsPlayer. It also works for shares that need user authorisation if the share and the user/password is configured in BsPlayer....

Is it possible to start a video file stream from an smb share from an external app using an intent? Within the app I can mount my smb share and play the file perfectly, but as far as I could see...
