- OSD-message = a message "on screen" (OSD = On Screen Display);
- Why enable it? Some examples (of course first (re)enable it and then) whilst playing a movie: press [i] ... or ... press left or right arrow key ... or press up or down arrow key ... or ... (with a subtitle loaded) try [ctrl] in combination with [arrowkey left/right] or try [shift] in combination with any arrowkey.
