From the official site you would need (under "Latest versions") "BSPlayer version 0.86.501 Installer". This link (leading to Simtel.net's download pages) should give no problems.
The other links (e.g. under "nighty builds") may sometimes be problematic, mostly caused by the downloader's own firewall (I've got that problem too, so I have to temporarily switch off my firewall whenever I want to download another file than the latest installer version). At present "nightly builds" represent no upgraded/updated builds, so just download the Installer version under "Latest versions" (or use one of the other alternatives I provided).
