Don't know. Where did you try? You could try the the "official" download page. You could have found a link to it in the first item of Help to Help. Another possibility is downloading from the dvd.box.sk site where you can also find previous versions; or you could even e.g. download it being included in e.g. the (full version of) K-Lite Codec pack, in which connection please see this post (also taking due note of the advice about how to deal with codec-packs in general). So, I really and honestly don't know and couldn't possibly tell you why you were unable to download newest version.

I tried from the home page of this site download latest version but it says im not authorised to view that page.

From the official site you would need (under "Latest versions") "BSPlayer version 0.86.501 Installer". This link (leading to Simtel.net's download pages) should give no problems. The other links (e.g. under "nighty builds") may sometimes be problematic, mostly caused by the downloader's own firewall (I've got that problem too, so I have to temporarily switch off my firewall whenever I want to download another file than the latest installer version). At present "nightly builds" represent no upgraded/updated builds, so just download the Installer version under "Latest versions" (or use one of the other alternatives I provided).

Great it was my firewall as you said switched it of temp and have now downloaded new version sucsessfully Thanks. pebs
