Video Landscape on Nexus 7

I just downloaded the BS Player Pro version onto my Nexus 7 but when I play a video I can only do so in portrait mode, is there some bug that's preventing landscape or am I missing some option?

EDIT: SOrry I just found out that the nexus 7 comes out of the box with rotation lock on, BS player working great now!

does BS player run in full screen and hide the lower task bar that shows the Back, Home, etc buttons that turn into dots for me?

These buttons can be hidden on phones but not on tablets.
