BS Player crash after installation of Service Pack 2 for XP |
| |||
after i had installed sp2, i can't played it with bsplayer, only with mediaplayer. It only played de sounds. I have installed everything again: codecs and bsplayer and it still don't play. Anyone more with this kind problem or how to solve it?? |

I have the same problem. I thought is because the new "Data Execution Prevention" (DEP) feature in Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 2 is enabled, that cause sometimes problems with DivX Codec, but DEP is for 64 bit procesors. I can't find a solution. |

a solution to SP2???
well i dont tested this but i was reading an compatibility issue and you actually can remove the DEP this is done in the administrative tools/local policies directives or something there you need to find the DEP you need to change the DEP to the policie AlwaysOff and maybe that works i dont know try it your pc wont explode

Got many problems. 1 . Launching videos is very slow. 2 . Viewing files in my Computer blocks during 10 seconds 'cause of icons of bsplayer's files association. No more problem when I've uninstalled bsplayer. |

Very slow launching? Do you have NAV by any chance? http://forum.bsplayer.org/viewtopic.php?p=15703#15703

First , I thought it was a problem with nvcpl.dll (nvidia drivers) wich blocking Explorer , but no. Bsplayer didn't work perfectly for me since start of August (perhaps after an automatic windows update) ... No problems before (with NAV) |
