Default BS Player crash after installation of Service Pack 2 for XP

I installed Service Pack 2 for Windows XP, and now every time I try to use BS Player, I get a "Problem Report" to send to Microsoft, and then BS Player crashes. Has Microsoft done something with Service Pack 2 so that it prevents BD Player from operating normally?

I have the same problem.
I thought is because the new "Data Execution Prevention" (DEP) feature in Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 2 is enabled, that cause sometimes problems with DivX Codec, but DEP is for 64 bit procesors. I can't find a solution.

Default a solution to SP2???

well i dont tested this but i was reading an compatibility issue and you actually can remove the DEP this is done in the administrative tools/local policies directives or something there you need to find the DEP you need to change the DEP to the policie AlwaysOff and maybe that works i dont know try it your pc wont explode

I tried to remove DEP, but but is not activated. It's a message, someting like "due to hardware design, your computer'r processor does not support DEP software".

Got many problems.
1 . Launching videos is very slow.
2 . Viewing files in my Computer blocks during 10 seconds 'cause of icons of bsplayer's files association.

No more problem when I've uninstalled bsplayer.

Very slow launching? Do you have NAV by any chance?

With or without NAV ... Same problem (I've installed again and again XP , with and without NAV)
First , I thought it was a problem with nvcpl.dll (nvidia drivers) wich blocking Explorer , but no.
Bsplayer didn't work perfectly for me since start of August (perhaps after an automatic windows update) ... No problems before (with NAV)
